Maybe you're familiar with the statement attributed to Michelangelo: that he didn't create masterpieces…he just removed all the stone that was hiding the creation trapped inside! And so it is with you and me. Your life is bursting with divine potential, designed for significance in this world; yet, that life is also encumbered with a shell that diminishes the glory God means to reveal through you. If this is true, then the greatest thing we can do is to chip away the falseness on one another and release what is most true in our lives.
At Purpose Coach, we want you to LIVE TRUE. What does that mean to you? Here's what it means to us..
Transparent. The source of your authentic self is our Designer. The more we know Him, the better we understand ourselves. And the more we understand ourselves, the more we have the opportunity to live honestly--letting others see the good, the bad, and the ugly. This is the prerequisite for authentic relationships.
Relational. We are not made for isolation. The clues we have to our design are illuminated through our fellowship with others. As we get real with ourselves and stop pretending with others, we enter a powerful dimension called intimacy. In this sacred place, we call one another out…out of falseness and into our true identity. Identity in unity.
United. Once we are seen and accepted for who we truly are, then—and only then—can we be released into our true destiny. And our destiny is larger than ourselves--it's something we can only fully attain within a larger community of like-minded individuals. A community empowers us.
Empowered. What do you yearn for, what are you highly skilled at, what are you passionate about? These are
the clues to living true. Destiny is birthed in our
partnership with God and lived out in partnership with others. In the home, in the workplace, in your church—it doesn't
matter: our true life is released through the truth spoken in love
(see Eph. 4:15). This is the purpose of coaching.
